A meeting with a psychologist/therapist involves an assessment and use of talk therapies to create change in problem areas such as discontent with who you are, life transitions, relationships, separation and divorce, depression, extreme mood change, stress, anxiety, coping with trauma, addictions, and workplace stress to name a few. The assessment and approach to your plan is based on your individual, unique goals, needs and personality.

Before going to college, she was a fitness instructor for the City of Calgary. Helping people achieve health has always been a passion of hers.

Dr. Marcia is fascinated with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and how Qi (life energy) flows through channels in the body. TCM believes that when there is balance, there is health. Andy Haile is a Nurse Practitioner with a passion for patient-centered, whole-person care. Before entering healthcare, he worked as a teacher, an experience that shaped his dedication to listening, educating, and empowering others.

With a decade of nursing experience, having worked as a Registered Nurse in acute care, urgent care, and long-term care, where he provided compassionate and skilled support to patients and families. Now practicing as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care, Andy blends medical expertise with a collaborative approach to support health and wellness across the lifespan.

His philosophy of care is rooted in listening, partnership, and empowering patients with the tools they need to take an active role in their health. He believes in addressing the root causes of illness—not just the symptoms—while integrating evidence-based medicine with holistic perspectives.

Andy has special interests in preventive health, hormone therapy, and both women’s and men’s health. He welcomes patients of all ages, whether they are managing chronic conditions, focusing on preventive wellness, or navigating life transitions. Dr. Xermã Palmares, ND, is an international medical graduate who practiced as a conventional medical doctor in Brazil for over 15 years before pursuing his passion for holistic health and transitioning to naturopathic medicine in Canada.
